Medical Immersion Program

The Medical Immersion Program at Conway Regional Medical Center exposes college students to the experience of a career in medicine. Over the course of the summer, students will complete 120 physician shadow hours, attend patient rounds, tour various hospital units, and participate in scholarly activity through a research project of their choosing. 


How to Apply

Applications will open January 15, 2024 and will close February 29, 2024. Virtual Interviews will be conducted March 4, 2024 through March 8, 2024. Program participants will be notified of acceptance no later than March 15, 2024.

 Eligibility Criteria

  • This program is open to outstanding sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college. Preference is given to qualified students who are entering their junior and senior years and are Arkansas residents or have strong ties to Arkansas.
  • Students must have an interest in the practice of medicine.
